Wolverhampton and Fairyhouse set to inspect

This afternoon's meeting at Wolverhampton is subject to a further inspection at 10am this morning.

Two centimetres of snow is reported to have fallen at the track overnight, although this is already clearing as the track is worked.

Officials checked conditions at 8am but have decided to reassess the situation again later in the morning.

Sunday's meeting at Fairyhouse will have to pass an inspection on Saturday if it is to go ahead.

While officials have yet to confirm the time of the inspection, they are concerned by conditions after overnight rain.

Horse Racing Ireland tweeted: "Fairyhouse heavy (12mm rain overnight). Track inspection to be held Saturday afternoon (specific time to follow)."
