We’re not sure that Tottenham fans have ever recovered from losing goal-scoring sensation Gareth Bale to Real Madrid two years ago.
Sure the €100m transfer fee helped – but those wounds were reopened today, when Real took on Spurs in a pre-season friendly, winning 2-0.
And wearing the white of Los Blancos, Bale sent a swerving shot screaming past Michel Vorm, who it's fair to say could’ve done better...
