Katie Taylor has won the Women's World Boxing Championships lightweight title in South Korea.

The Wicklow boxer has beaten Azerbaijan's Yana Aleksaeeva in the final in Jeju this morning.

She claimed her fifth consecutive world title with a unanimous victory.

Her latest world title secures a 17th major title for Taylor.
