Double injury blow for Leinster

Ireland and Leinster flanker Jordi Murphy is set to miss this year's November Internationals.

Leinster have confirmed that the player will sit out the start of the new season and is expected to be sidelined for up to three months after already undergoing surgery on a troublesome shoulder injury.

The province have also announced that Dan Leavy suffered a medial strain to his right knee during last Saturday's pre-season friendly defeat to Ulster and the up-and-coming flanker is expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks.
