Leitrim GAA official Seán Ó Suilleabháin stepped in to save the GAA’s blushes after a technical malfunction in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Amhrán na bhFiann was being played before an All-Ireland junior club football semi-final between Ardnaree and Rockcorry, but the recording started to stutter and repeat after just a few seconds.
The crowd started to cheer ironically, but Ó Suilleabháin soon silenced them when he took over the microphone.
The GAA official gave a superb rendition of the national anthem and was rewarded with a fully deserved round of applause.
Note perfect Seán - maith an fear tú féin.
Mayo side Ardnaree went on to win the game.
