A fundraising arm of the Roscommon County Board has released a novel video giving an insight into the county’s senior footballers.
The video has garnered over 2,000 views since Club Rossie, a sub-group of the county board, posted it online on Wednesday.
While not particularly revealing, it shows the senior team being put through their paces by manager John Evans with a number of drills and exercises and is, according to Club Rossie, intended as a thank you to all who have supported the group’s inception.
Among Club Rossie’s stated objectives is to raise funds which will be used to prepare county teams, develop underage squads, fund future facilities and also help individual club teams as specified by each donor.
Both the video and the sub-group are novel approaches to garnering funds and connecting with a county’s GAA fan base.
