Former Clare hurler Davy O'Halloran has joined the county's football panel.

Former Clare hurler Davy O'Halloran has joined the county's football panel, the Irish Examiner has confirmed.

Manager Colm Collins this morning revealed the Eire Óg man recently linked up with the squad.

"We took a week off after the league and he's in with us this week. He's an excellent footballer."

O'Halloran left Davy Fitzgerald's hurlers last month after claiming he was humiliated for an alleged breach of conduct.

Nicky O'Connell also left the panel with O'Halloran stating he too was subjected to unfair treatment.
