Jim McGuinness is regarded by many as something of a sporting oracle.
As a manager, the Donegal man led his native county to All-Ireland success in 2012, and to the final of the same competition in 2014. As a result he has near-mythic status in the eyes of the Mourne Men and their fans.
His reputation stretches much further than Gaelic football though, he has had a role with Glasgow Celtic for the past three years, and has also worked with Europe 2014 Ryder Cup team and with English rugby club Saracens.
So it’s no surprise to hear that McGuinness is putting pen to paper and publishing a book later this year.

According to Amazon, the book “is the story of how he combined a unique vision and ferocious drive to create a powerful and disciplined team that bucked history and defied every expectation”.
Provisionally titled ‘Until Victory Always’ the book is due for release on October 2015.
That’s Christmas sorted for the GAA fan in your life.
