Elkington apologises for offensive tweet
A golfer at the Senior Open Championship has apologised after making offensive remarks on Twitter.
Steve Elkington, the 1995 US PGA champion, used a term offensive to people from Pakistan, while he also heavily criticised Southport, where the tournament is being held.
The Australian said he is "prepared to adhere" to any disciplinary action that comes his way.
