All-Madrid clash for Champions League last eight

Reigning champions Real Madrid will face bitter rivals Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last eight in a repeat of last season’s final.

Madrid claimed their 10th European Cup title by beating Atletico 4-1 after extra-time in Lisbon last May and are now bidding to become the first team to defend the Champions League crown.

Atletico will take heart, however, from the teams’ meetings this season. Diego Simeone’s side have beaten Madrid twice in the league and also knocked Los Blancos out of the Copa del Rey in January.

Chelsea's conquerors Paris St Germain have also been handed a tough draw as they face four-time champions Barcelona.

The sides have already met in the group stage this season where PSG won 3-2 at home before the Catalans exacted revenge at the Nou Camp with a 3-1 victory.

The tie will also see PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and manager Laurent Blanc return to their former club.

Five-time champions Bayern Munich will face Porto in a repeat of the 1987 European Cup final, when the Portuguese side triumphed 2-1.

Juventus, who dispatched Borussia Dortmund in the previous round with an impressive 5-1 aggregate victory, play rank outsiders Monaco.

The first legs will be played on April 14 and 15 and the second legs will take place on April 21 and 22.

The Europa League quarter-final draw saw holders Sevilla matched against Andre Villas-Boas' Zenit St Petersburg.

Sevilla, who beat Benfica on penalties to lift the title last season, beat Zenit 5-2 on aggregate at the same stage in 2006 when the Spanish side went on to win the competition.

In-form Wolfsburg take on Rafa Benitez’s Napoli, having knocked out another Italian opponent in the previous round, beating Inter Milan 5-2 on aggregate.

Dynamo Kiev, who dumped out Everton in the round of 16, will face Tottenham’s conquerors Fiorentina.

Ukraine’s Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, making their first ever appearance at this stage of the tournament, take on Belgium’s Club Brugge, who are the only unbeaten side left in the competition.

The first legs will be played on April 16 with the second legs a week later on April 23.
