Yvonne Keating speaks openly about divorce from Ronan

Yvonne Keating took to the airwaves this morning in a frank and honest interview about her life following her official divorce from Ronan Keating.

Ronan and Yvonne announced their split back in 2011, a year after the mum of three found out Ronan had an affair with backing dancer, Francine Cornell.

However the pair were only officially divorced last week after 17 years of marriage.

Yvonne, who is happily in a relationship with cameraman John Conroy, said the divorce being reported in the press has been bizarre.

"It's kind of strange, because obviously it all happened such a long time ago. In this country it takes four years to get divorced, so to see it back in the papers again is really bizarre," she said.

She also openly admits that Ronan will never be fully out of her life: "Divorce is not an easy thing, but once you have children, you're in each other's lives forever. We've got three busy children, and because of his [Ronan's] work situation we have to make an effort."

Yvonne has also moved out of the Abington house she and ex-husband Ronan Keating built in Malahide, Co Dublin and moved down the road to a new €1.28m estate.
