WATCH: “When Ed Sheeran was sh*t”

Just in case you missed the most talked about and hilarious Ed Sheeran performance of this year, we are here to fill you in.

Ed was amongst guests such as David Walliams, Jimmy Carr, Barbara Windsor, Lewis Hamilton and Idina Menzel, on Saturday night's Jonathan Ross's Christmas special show.

From David Walliams chatting about Simon’s bathroom workouts to Lewis Hamilton charging the stage in his new set of wheels, it was a jam-packed hour and a half slot.

But taking the show by storm was the moment when Ed Sheeran debuted one of his recordings from back in the day.

“When Ed Sheeran was sh*t,” Ross announced to his live audience.

"When people go, 'ah you're so talented you were born with natural talent', I go, 'no'. Have a listen to this," Ed said before hitting play.

He even needed Jonathan Ross’s hand as a support mechanism during the hillarious track.

Lesson of the day: Practice makes perfect.

We think we might love him even more after this - if that's possible.
