“Sigh-oh-ban, Ergh-hone" Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg try to pronounce Irish names

If you have an Irish name, these pronunciations will be all too familiar -“Sigh-oh-ban”, “Ace-ling” or even “Ergh-hone”.

Well, they were the attempts made by Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg last night when asked to pronounce some Irish names on the Red Carpet.

Xpose’s Peter O’Riordan challenged the duo by bringing along some name cards with some popular Irish names written on them.

First up: Siobhan

Then: Eoghan

Next: Aisling

And lastly: Oísin

Of course they failed miserably, but it never gets old.
