Rod Stewart to top 'Live at the Marquee' bill
Aiken Promotions have unveiled the first six acts for their 2009 'Live at the Marquee' series of concerts in Cork yesterday.
Rod Stewart will be topping the bill with The Prodigy, Kasabian and Josh Ritter performing in association with Cork's Red FM.
Gilbert O'Sullivan has been confirmed while Christy Moore returns to the Marquee for the fifth year in a row.
Peter Aiken told Cork's Red FM that more big names are to be expected.
Music lovers in Cork will be able to get their hands on tickets for 'Live at the Marquee' next week.
Tickets for Rod Stewart and Christy Moore will be available from tomorrow morning.
Other acts that have been announced are the Prodigy, Kasabian and Josh Ritter.
Aiken Promotions are expected to announce further details of next year's festival in the coming weeks.
