Nicole Scherzinger wants Sharon Osbourne to return to 'The X Factor' judging panel.
The 'Boomerang' singer - who guided James Arthur to victory on the last series of the ITV singing competition - is backing the former judge to return to the show after mentor Tulisa was reportedly axed last month.
Sharon, 60, and Spice Girls singer Mel B, 37, are considered the favourites to replace the 'Young' singer on the panel and Nicole is "Team Sharon" after the music manager invited her to be a guest judge during the Judges' Houses round in 2007.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the Give It Up for Comic Relief fundraiser at London's Wembley Arena on Wednesday, Nicole said: "Sharon Osbourne is the first person that introduced me to 'X Factor' and brought me on as a guest judge, so I'm Team Sharon all the way.
"I absolutely love her and adore her. She's a righteous momma!"
The 34-year-old pop star isn't sure about Tulisa's future on 'The X Factor', but insists the pair have a "great" friendship.
She said: "I don't know anything about that. That's for Tulisa to say. But I know I have a great working relationship and friendship with her, so I'm sure she'll choose what's best for her."
Nicole played coy about her own return to panel - which also consists of Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh - adding: "We haven't had the talks yet so I'm not sure what's going on."
Nicole performed at the Comic Relief charity event, which was hosted by Russell Brand last night.
