Kym Marsh was reported to the police after hosting a loud karaoke party.
The 38-year-old actress - who stars as Michelle Connor in 'Coronation Street' - was reportedly holding a 17th birthday party for her daughter Emilie Cunliffe, when neighbours complained to the cops about the noise.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Emilie still wants to be a popstar, but if these complaints are anything to go by she should consider a different career.
"Kym’s trying to sell her place and for some residents, the move can’t come quick enough."
Police confirmed they had received complaints late last year.
A spokesperson said: "We advised the informants to call the council. No further action was taken."
Meanwhile, Emilie - who was at her mother's home in Worsley, Manchester - was booted off talent show 'The Voice' earlier this month after the show's judges failed to turn their chair for her but she has no plans on giving up her "dream".
After her appearance, she wrote: "'Thanks everyone for all my amazing feedback on my @BBCTheVoiceUK audition! I will never give up, I'm determined to make my dream come true x. (sic)"
Before later adding: "I can't believe people are still tweeting me! thankyou so much everyone for the support! Thank you for all the positive feedback, means alot x. (sic)"
