Irish baker Iain Watters has a meltdown on last night's GBBO.

It all gets too hot in the kitchen for Iain - and his dessert

Last night we witnessed Irish contestant Iain Watters go into meltdown during an airing of The Great British Bake Off where he hurled his baked alaska into the bin after it failed to set.

The contestants were set a task to make the famous desert and all went to plan for Iain until fellow contestant Dana Bird removed his desert from the fridge while it was beginning to set.

When Iain discovered this he immediately threw his dish into the bin, stormed out of the tent and took time on a nearby hill.

When judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood asked to see his masterpiece he showed it off in the only way he could - by presenting them with the bin.

Twitter has exploded using the hashtag #justiceforiain - it even trended in the UK!

Even creating hilarious memes of what they are now calling - Diana’s sabotage.

Presenter Sue Perkins tried to clear up all sabotage rumors but Iain fans were having none of it.

Iain replied to the support last night via Twitter:

And gave his best wishes to fellow contestant Diana.

We hope to see a lot more for this talented Irish baker in the future!
