American singer Sheryl Crow has learned to relax since passing 40, because she knows she can't compete with her "20-year-old sex kitten" chart rivals.
The My Favourite Mistake hitmaker, 43, admits she spent a lot of time worrying over her appearance during her twenties and thirties, but has grown to accept her ageing features.
She explains: "Through my twenties and my thirties I was very hard on myself, very critical.
"I've let go of that competitiveness. I'm never going to compete for radio time with 20-year-old sex kittens. That's not even interesting to me any more."
