Arctic Monkeys are today confirmed as one of the headliners for next year's Oxegen festival at Punchestown Racecourse.
The British band last performed at the festival in 2006, following the release of their first album, 'Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not', which became the fastest-selling debut album in UK music history.
American rockers the Foo Fighters were confirmed to play the event yesterday.
The band are set to showcase new material to Irish fans, as well as classics from their many award-winning albums.
Oxegen takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare from Thursday, July 7 to Sunday, July 10, 2011, subject to licence.
Early bird saver tickets will be available from 9am tomorrow until Friday, December 31 from www.ticketmaster.ie.
