Anastacia refuses to see father
Blonde beauty Anastacia refuses to get in touch with her father Robert Newkirk, who left her family when she was just five.
The I'm Outta Love singer was hurt Newkirk never bothered to see her during her widely-publicised breast cancer ordeal last year and insists contacting him is pointless, because she could never relate to a parent like that.
She explains: "I don't have a deep desire to know my father. My brother and sister and I got forgotten about by him, and we haven't spoken to him in a ridiculous amount of years. He never contacted us after he and my mother broke up.
"I've seen that happen all over America. I can't relate to someone allowing a piece of his own flesh to be on the Earth and not want to be connected. I hate it when I'm even away from my dog. I never felt rejected as a kid. We had a fulfilling life with my mum. She was so strong."
