10 million viewers watch X Factor return
More than 10 million viewers watched the return of The X Factor last night - exactly double the peak audience of Doctor Who.
The talent show pulled in around 300,000 more viewers compared with its peak during last year's launch.
Tonight, acts from around the world - including South Africa, Poland and Hong Kong - will try to impress judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl and Mel B.
