Adverse weather conditions at Wexford Park have forced referee Barry Kelly to call off today’s National Hurling League Division 1A fixture between Wexford and All-Ireland champions Cork.
Heavy rain in the region meant there was always a doubt about the game going ahead and Westmeath official Kelly, who inspected the pitch twice, confirmed his decision shortly after 2pm.
Throw-in was due at 3pm. Details of the re-fixed date are expected shortly.
