Troubled screen star Mickey Rourke identifies with his character Marv in his latest film Sin City as they both experienced a horrific inner struggle.
The former Hollywood hellraiser admits he still has to attend therapy sessions but has at least recognised the fact he had serious problems to solve.
He says: "I can't afford to make the same mistakes that kept me out of work for 10 years, and the things that caused me to do that are still embedded in me.
"I have to work very hard, to make sure I don't slip. I wouldn't be sitting here without (therapy). I didn't think anything was wrong with me.
"It's the same thing with Marv - Marv doesn't either."
