Two Palestinians have been killed during a clash with Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.

Two Palestinians have been killed during a clash with Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.

The clash between Israeli tanks and Palestinian gunmen took place at Khan Younis in the central Gaza Strip.

It is not known whether the men were gunmen or civilians living nearby.

Three other Palestinians were also wounded in the shooting.

At Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip seven Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli troops backed by tanks.

Earlier, a Palestinian teenager was killed in a clash with soldiers and two Israeli border policemen were wounded by a grenade thrown at their post.

The Palestinians said the boy was throwing stones at the soldiers but the army said he pointed a rifle at them.
