UK police arrest two in handbag killing case
A man and a woman were arrested in connection with the death of a costume designer who was run over and killed after two thieves stole her handbag, Scotland Yard said today.
Detectives detained a 35-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman in north London just after midnight.
Both are being questioned over the attack which left Elizabeth Sherlock dying of horrific injuries after she chased the thieves out of Euston station in broad daylight on Bank Holiday Monday.
