Take a top French stand-up comic – Elmaleh – and a sexy French chick – Tautou – and put them in a sunny Riviera setting and, since it’s a French film, you get one of those easy-to-watch moments that won’t test you too much but will send you off feeling happy.
Tautou plays a gold-digger who is duped by a hotel barman and sets out to gain revenge … only it’s love she finds.
It’s a fun film, no more and no less: witty, romantic and packed with charm.
