Bosses at comic book powerhouse Marvel Entertainment have delayed the release of two upcoming blockbusters - 'The Avengers' and 'Thor'.
Fans looking forward to the planned 'The Avengers' movie will have to wait another two years, as the multi-character film - featuring Robert Downey Jr's 'Iron Man', 'The Hulk' and 'Captain America - has been pushed back until 2012.
'Thor', to be directed by Kenneth Branagh, was slated for release in 2010 but has now been delayed until summer 2011. Bosses at comic book powerhouse Marvel Entertainment have delayed the release of two upcoming blockbusters - 'The Avengers' and 'Thor'.
The move means there will be four superhero blockbusters hitting cinemas in the summer of 2011 - 'Iron Man 2', 'The First Avenger: Captain America', 'Thor' and the fourth installment in the 'Spider-Man' franchise.
