Get that kit off, Mayo ladies told

The Mayo ladies football team have become embroiled in a major row over which brand kit they wear ahead of their All-Ireland semi-final tie this weekend.

The Mayo ladies football team have become embroiled in a major row over which brand kit they wear ahead of their All-Ireland semi-final tie this weekend.

Kit manufacturers O'Neills are demanding that the Mayo ladies wear O'Neills branded gear in line with a Ladies Board deal. This is despite the fact that Azzuri have been supplying gear to Mayo all year.

An Azzuri spokesman said: "Mayo have been warned that they face the ultimate sanction if they don't wear O'Neill's shirts but this is just another example of a monopoly in the GAA."
