Sligo veteran Paul Durcan has been tempted out of retirement by new boss James Kearins in a considerable boost to the Yeats County ahead of the National League campaign.
Dublin based prison officer Durcan, a former star with the Na Fianna club, announced his inter-county retirement last year to focus on life as a club player with his native Curry.
However, Kearins wants the 33-year old back in his team and it is understood that the big midfielder is agreeable to staying on and will resume training this week.
