Jason Byrne scored twice as champions Bohemians stormed from behind late on once again as Drogheda finished with nine men.

Drogheda started well but were rocked back on their heels as Bohs took a 32nd minutes lead.

Paul Keegan whipped over a precise free-kick and Byrne’s header beat Paul Skinner.

Drogheda levelled on 62 minutes through midfielder Paul Crowley with Joe Kendrick then firing them in front from a penalty on 75 minutes.

Byrne equalised on 87 minutes and a minute later Kendrick was the first Drogheda player to see red.

Gareth McGlynn then put Bohs in front within a further minute as you couldn’t take you eyes off the action.

A minute later Drogheda striker John Flood was sent off.

Paddy Madden then added a fourth goal for Bohemians in the final minute.
