Big Brother contestants were today finding out which of them face eviction - after being told that two people will be kicked out on Friday night.

In a surprise twist, the show’s organisers announced to the shocked housemates that the pair who get the most public votes will have to leave.

Before yesterday’s announcement, Big Brother bosses had promised to introduce a new element to the show in an attempt to spice things up.

Tania read out the details and gasped “This is bad” while the others sat in stunned silence.

Mulling over the reasons behind the double eviction, Jon told the others: “We are so boring they have got to do something to mix it up.”

The housemates made their nominations yesterday and Big Brother was set to announce the names of those facing eviction today.

There will be three live eviction night specials on Channel 4 this Friday.

During the first show, the housemate with the most number of votes will be evicted.

The voting lines will then reopen for viewers to vote for the second person to leave the house.
