Two goals from Paddy Mulvihill put Longford into the eircom League Cup semi-final tonight.

Mulvihill gave Town the perfect start with the lead goal on 11 minutes, rising well to head home Phil Keogh's corner.

Bohs were level on 32 minutes when Town failed to clear Bobby Ryan's ball into the box and Robbie Doyle reacted well to fire the loose ball past Michael Dempsey.

The game went into extra-time and it wasn't until the 116th minute that the breakthrough came for Longford.

Mulvihill again got the goal after Phil Keogh helped on a long clearance from 'keeper Dempsey.
