Nicolas Anelka insists he is happy at Bolton and has no thoughts of moving on.

The France striker rediscovered his scoring touch at the weekend by getting the winner against Lithuania in a Euro 2008 qualifier.

Anelka returns to domestic action on Saturday when Bolton entertain Sheffield United.

He told L’Equipe: “I have not thought about moving because there are no offers from elsewhere.

“If I receive an offer from a big club I would think about it. But at the moment I am happy at Bolton.”

Anelka, who has worked his back into the France side, added: “I was always aware of my qualities.

“I do not want to reopen the argument but I remain convinced I was left out due to my character rather than my play.”
