British singer Amy Winehouse has hit out at claims she is too skinny, insisting critics should turn their attention to other dieters like pop star Charlotte Church instead.

The slender Frank hitmaker, who used to sport a fuller figure, is fed up with criticism over her weight and claims the media should redirect its attention to curvy Church's battle to lose weight.

She says: "It bothered me when someone said: 'You used to be a role model for curvy women.' I was like, no actually. Go and have a go at Charlotte Church when she loses a stone.

"People say you're too skinny, it's like saying you are too fat. It's weight discrimination."
