Last year's 2000 Guineas and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes winner George Washington has returned to pre-training after fertility problems as a stallion.

The four-time Group One winner has reportedly rejoined Aidan O'Brien at Ballydoyle, around a fortnight after 2007 Classic hope Holy Roman Emperor was retired to take his place at stud.

O'Brien is keen to stress no firm plans have been made for George Washington just yet, but racegoers could conceivably see him in action in a couple of months.
