Wexford's inspirational keeper Damien Fitzhenry has been ruled out of action for up to two months after suffering a broken cheek bone.

Wexford's inspirational keeper Damien Fitzhenry has been ruled out of action for up to two months after suffering a broken cheek bone.

The former allstar underwent surgery on the injury on Sunday.

He now looks set to miss the opening NHL fixture - an away trip to Derry on February 23 - but could return for the home tie against Donal O'Grady's Cork on March 9.
