Everton’s Victor Anichebe faces a fitness test tomorrow after he was carried off on a stretcher with a shin injury during the club’s 2-2 UEFA Cup draw against Standard Liege last night.

Midfielder Marouane Fellaini will return in Sunday’s Premier League match at Hull after missing the European tie because he was cup-tied, while goalkeeper Tim Howard should be cleared to play despite suffering from a virus.

Steven Pienaar (ankle), Andy van der Meyde (hamstring), Tony Hibbert (knee), Joseph Yobo (ankle) and Louis Saha (calf) are still injured and will not be available for David Moyes’ side.

Provisional squad: Howard, Neville, Lescott, Baines, Jagielka, Arteta, Osman, Cahill, Baxter, Yakubu, Turner, Nash, Jutkiewicz, Fellaini, Agard, Kissock, Wallace, Anichebe.
