The father of late actor Heath Ledger has appealed for the return of the actor's treasured camper van after it was stolen by thieves.
Kim Ledger reported the vehicle missing last Friday and has demanded it be returned.
The tragic star is reported to have given the 1975 green Kombi to his close friend Trevor DiCarlo when he sold his Australian home and returned to live in the US, according to Australian website News.com.au.
However, the van was discovered to have been stolen around January 20 - around the time of Ledger's death, although the theft has only just been reported to police.
And Kim Ledger is desperate to have the vehicle returned - asking cops to have it towed back to his home city of Perth once it is found.
