A bus carrying air force personnel exploded today in southern Russia, near Chechnya, killing at least 13 people.

A bus carrying air force personnel exploded today in southern Russia, near Chechnya, killing at least 13 people.

The bus was travelling from the city of Mozdok in the North Ossetia region to a military air base nearby, ITAR-Tass reported, citing unnamed officials at Russia’s main military base in Chechnya.

Mozdok is the headquarters for Russian forces fighting rebels in Chechnya.
