Gary McAllister is expected to be named as the new boss of Coventry City this morning.
The Liverpool midfielder and former Sky Blues favourite has been touted as the number one choice to take over the side ever since they sacked player-manager Roland Nilsson last week.
The ex-Scotland international played 119 matches for Coventry in his four seasons at the club after he joined from Leeds in 1996.
