Student wins Miss World

Tatana Kucharova, an 18-year-old student from the Czech Republic, won the Miss World 2006 beauty contest tonight.

Tatana Kucharova, an 18-year-old student from the Czech Republic, won the Miss World 2006 beauty contest tonight.

Kucharova defeated 102 other contestants to received the crown from last year’s winner, Iceland’s Unnur Birna Vilhjalmsdottir, after a two-hour finals ceremony in the Polish capital, Warsaw.
