Police arrest boy in connection with inquiry into alleged sex attacks on two girls, aged six
A boy has been arrested by police in England investigating the sexual assault of two six-year-old girls at Legoland.
The juvenile has been questioned in connection with the incident which happened at the Castaway Camp in the Pirate Shores area of the Windsor theme park on August 11.
The youngster has been released on bail until December 2 pending further police inquiries.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "A boy has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of two girls at Legoland Windsor Resort.
"The offence happened at Castaway Camp in Pirate Shores between about 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Thursday August 11 this year.
"The offender touched the victims, two six-year-old girls, inappropriately.
"This morning, police officers from Thames Valley Police arrested a boy in connection with the offence. He has been released on police bail until December 2.
"This is remains a live investigation and we continue to appeal for the public's help. If you have any information about the offences please call 101 and quote reference number 705."
A 22-year-old man previously arrested in connection with the attacks was released without charge.
The case was featured on the BBC Crimewatch programme in September, which led to more than 80 calls from members of the public.
One of the mothers told the programme: "I wasn't concerned about them being in there, I was concerned with one of them running out and getting lost.
"You just wouldn't even think that there was an adult in there."
The other mother said: "They did a bucket and spade list of what they wanted to do in the summer holidays, Legoland was on the bucket and spade list."
