Actress and singer Jessica Simpson has vowed to fight a $100m (€82.7m) lawsuit filed by a clothing company, after she allegedly failed to promote their products as agreed.
The Tarrant Apparel Group (TAG) filed suit against the star at New York State Supreme Court last week.
Simpson reportedly signed a multi-million-dollar three-year deal in 2004 to launch their range of bargain fashions but the company claims she didn't sport enough of their styles at "public events, shows and appearances".
Simpson's lawyer Jed Ferdinand hits back, saying: "(The allegations are) absolutely untrue. That's what the evidence will show, and she will vigorously fight the lawsuit."
