Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have confirmed extended contracts for two of their current Super League players.
Steve Snitch has been given a two-year deal to expire in November 2005. Snitch signed for the club in May 2000 and has had his best season for the Wildcats with 22 games this season.
Darrell Griffin has been awarded a three-year contract to expire in November 2006. Griffin was signed in June of this year from Harlequins rugby union and has been a storm at the club ever since, being an ever present since signing with 16 games under his belt.
Coach Shane McNally confirmed: “Both Snitch and Griffin have had great seasons.
“Steve has been around a long time at the club and it is easy to forget that he is still only 20. He has a long way to go in the game and has shown this year that he can hold his own against the best in the League.
“Not only that, his 80-metre try last weekend is testament to his speed and agility also.”
