Laois dual player Darren Rooney is facing the prospect of playing two games in as many days for the county's football and hurling teams.
Laois play Offaly in the Leinster hurling quarter-final on May 29 and the footballers are out the following the day against Carlow.
Laois hurling manager Páidí Butler has confirmed that Rooney will definitely play with his side on Saturday and it is likely football chief Mick O'Dwyer will select him the following day.
