Naomi kept waiting as clothes disappear
Naomi Campbell failed to show up at a charity event she organised in Cannes because her stylist disappeared with her clothes.
The supermodel had invited about 50 guests for lunch and a live auction at the French resort's VIP Club to raise money for Nelson Mandela's Children's Foundation. However, when she didn't turn up the event was abandoned.
She sat on a boat for two hours in her underwear, waiting for new clothes to arrive. In the end, she borrowed a dress from a friend.
Meanwhile, the model has also had €36,000 worth of jewellery stolen while in Cannes. The thief sneaked on board the yacht she was staying on and helped himself to valuables. He evaded security by pretending to be part of the supermodel's entourage and spent several minutes rifling through the cabins on the luxury boat.
