Paul Lambert insists there is no reason for Celtic to fear Rangers next season.
The Ibrox side have flown to New York for the start of their pre-season tour as manager Alex McLeish prepares to embark upon his first full season as Rangers manager.
Since taking over from Dick Advocaat in December, McLeish has already claimed both the Scottish Cup and the League Cup.
And he has brought Kevin Muscat and Barcelona youngster Mikel Arteta to Glasgow in a bid to bolster his squad.
But Hoops midfielder Lambert claims he has no intention of worrying about Rangers - instead he will concentrate on Celtic's plans to claim their third successive league championship.
He said: "To be honest I look to my own team - that's more important to me.
"There's no point looking over your shoulder to see what's happening elsewhere.
"My team is Celtic and hopefully we can have the success that we've had over the last couple of years.
"If you start looking to other things then it will play on your mind, so it's best to stay focused on what you have to do.
"You don't worry about anyone. You just play your own way and see what happens."
