Canadian John Part whitewashed qualifier Mark Walsh 10-0 to canter into the second round of the PDC Stan James World Matchplay.
'Darth Maple' took advantage of some big-stage nerves from Walsh to win every leg without reply from the Watford first timer.
After opening with a 140 Part went all the way down to a score of three and finished with a one D1.
Londoner Walsh had come through tough qualifying rounds but his arrows were wavering into one and five rather than the sought treble 20.
Part finished with low doubles but that didn't matter to the experienced pro who surged into a 5-0 lead before anyone in the crowd could blink.
Ireland's Open Classic winner was in an uncompromising mood and showed no mercy to the nervous Walsh and wrapped up the ninth and tenth legs with D20 to move to the next stage.
Part faces a much tougher task in the last sixteen with Steve Beaton or Cliff Lazarenko representing a higher quality of opposition.
However, his three-dart average of 84.92 may have to go up if he is to oust Beaton or Lazarenko.
"I felt a bit embarrassed for Walshy to be honest. He didn't get into his game at all and I think the nerves got the better of him.
"It ended more or less like a practise match really. I even thought about trying for the 9-darter but didn't get into my stride enough."
