Anne Robinson 'under armed guard'
Anne Robinson is reported to have been put under armed guard amid fears for her safety.
Robinson is currently in America filming the US version of The Weakest Link.
It's believed TV bosses are worried that her rude comments to contestants could lead to someone trying to take a pot-shot at her.
Bosses at NBC have hired Robinson a bodyguard to protect her round the clock.
A source at NBC has said there are "serious worries" over Anne's safety.
"A lot of people in the TV industry here were surprised by the nastiness in the show, and amazed at the rudeness," said the source.
"Anne is very caustic and could rub people up the wrong way."
