Lily Allen has hit out at 'X Factor' bosses for allowing Ceri Rees to audition for a fourth time.
The 'Not Fair' hitmaker suggested the ITV1 show has exploited the vulnerable hopeful – who has previously tried out for the series in 2005, 2006 and 2008 – to maximise viewing figures, as she is "clearly ill".
Writing on her twitter page, Lily said: "The judges are never divided are they?
"Kerry from Bridgend , they shouldn't have aired that audition, she's clearly ill. (sic)"
Ceri – who idolises judge Louis Walsh, and even bought him a bouquet of flowers – looked stricken on Sunday night's show when Louis, Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos told her there would be no way she would be progressing in the competition.
Louis said: "You're definitely not going to be a recording artist."
However, Lily wasn't the only star to express her discomfort at the seven minutes and 11 seconds of the show dedicated to Ceri, as TV presenter Lorraine Kelly also admitted it made for uncomfortable viewing.
She tweeted: "Uncomfy to watch ceri on x factor – she's a poor wee soul. (sic)"
